Women are expected to control 60% of the UK’s wealth by the end of 2025, according to the Centre for Economic and Business Research.

But they are still largely absent from wealth management’s senior ranks, and only account for less than a fifth of financial advisers in the country.

Financial News’s100 Most Influential Women in European Finance listfeatures five outstanding women from the sector.

This year’s entrants hail from some of the biggest wealth managers in the country, from St James’s Place to Rathbones and UBS.

Four are brand new to the list, reflectingFN’s increased coverage of wealth management and the high level of senior turnover in the industry this year.
